It's More Than Meetings

Being on Council is not just about reading an agenda and voting on recommendations at our twice monthly meetings.  It’s about digging deeper into issues and making informed decisions for the best outcome.  Council members are also appointed to several Committees of Council to keep informed and be the committee liaison with Council

During my time on Council I have been involved with these committees:

• Corunna Community Safety (as well a guided an independent safety awareness group to form)

• Heritage St. Clair (Alternate)
• Moore Museum
• Parks Advisory
• Property Standards
• Drainage Court of Revision
• Committee of Adjustment
• Clean Harbors Community Liaison

Mayor’s Alternate on Lambton County Council, attending County Council meetings on behalf of the Mayor numerous times.

I attend Provincial and Federal municipal related conferences full of educational seminars and networking opportunities including: Ontario Good Roads (OGRA), Rural Ontario Municipal Association (ROMA), Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM), the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO), and The Ontario Association of Committees of Adjustment (OACOA).
