The Kimball Corridor

When you take the time and think about all the great businesses that are here in St. Township you come up with a long list!  I live on Kimball Road just outside of Corunna and these are some of the unique shops and food stands that are within 20 minutes of my house.

From flowers to pottery, fresh produce to sheepskins, these entrepreneurs and putting their hearts and souls into bringing good things to their communities.

From Petrolia line south you can find Funny Farm Country Flowers, Cedarview Farm Bakery, The Mercatile at Ysebaert Acres (just west of Kimball on Courtright Line), Sycamore Farms Produce, and Mr. Scott’s farm fresh produce during harvest time.
Then just east of Kimball Road off of Bentpath Line, there’s Pretty Road Co. Farm Store and on Wilkesport line just west of Kimball, you can rent a kayak and paddle the Sydenham.
There’s also Lydia Nicholson’s Pottery Shed at 3171 Waubuno Road, Parallel Junction in Brigden and
Pawsitive Pottery – The Shoppe in Courtright.
Some of these places are only open Saturday with limited hours or seasonal so be sure to check their Facebook pages for details.

I’ve been in talks with many of these folks for a few months to develop a map of St. Clair Township that highlights their businesses.  As Mayor, I would like to help create more ways to entice people to visit our township.  Promotional material like maps, day trip suggestions and itineraries are a good way to start.  There are so many possibilities.

I feel an Economic and Cultural Development staff member is needed to promote our Township to attract visitors to visit all the great things we have.

Hope to see you Cruisin’ the Kimball soon!
